Only users with the role of Administrator/Catalog Administrator have access to the management of information PUSH notifications.
Informational notifications can lead to Promotions (a specific promotion), a Shopping cart, a Product Catalog (a specific product).
The current settings allow you to set both one-time notifications and multiple notifications on days of the week during the specified period. At the same time, all scheduled PUSH notifications are displayed in the calendar, as well as checking for time intersection with already created notifications.
The maximum length of the notification Text is 150 characters.
Creating informational PUSH notifications
To view or edit notifications that have already been created, go to Management>Managed Notifications Log.
To create a new notification, click on the Create Notification button.
In Step 1, you need the following:
Set the understandable name of the notification
Notification title
Notification text
The point where the notification will lead:
Promotions (specify the name of the promotion in the Search field)
Shopping Cart
Catalog (specify the product name in the Search field)
Supplier's promotions (specify the Supplier's name in the Search field)
Supplier's catalog (specify the Supplier's name in the Search field)
Information on the supplier (specify the name of the Supplier in the Search field)
External transition (in the Link field, specify a link to an external resource! Attention: the link must comply with the secure https protocol. Example of a link: https://smartsatu.com/ )
Leave the Average value (setting the importance of notifications will be implemented in the future)
Go to Step 2.
The maximum length of the notification Text is 45 characters. Text editing is possible both at the creation stage and at the editing stage.
If the promotion or product is not available to the retailer (restrictions on business rules), when clicking on the push, the Retailer will get to the root pages of the Promotion sections and the Catalog according to the type of push. If the Supplier is not available for Retailer, then the passing to the supplier's promotions or catalog will take place, but the screen will be empty.
In Step 2, you need to select the Retailer to which the notification will be sent.
In this case, you can select all Retailers or specific Retailers from the list by setting the appropriate checkbox. The list is searchable by Retailer code, name and legal name.
You can also download an xls file with a list of Retailers. To do this, click on the Download XLS button.
Click the Select button. Open the required xls file and click the Download XLS button.
After selecting the Retailer, go to Step 3.
At Step 3, the sending time is set up and the time intersection with the already created notifications is monitored. The settings allow sending both one-time notifications and on selected days of the week in a specified period.
To send a one-time notification, you must:
Select the date and time of sending
To check the intersection with other notifications, click on the Update in the calendar button
To configure multiple notifications to be sent during a specified period, you must:
Select the date and time of the sending start
Set the Repeat checkbox
Select the date and time of the sending end
Select the days on which the notification will be sent
To check the intersection with other notifications, click on the Update in the calendar button
The time at which the notification will be sent is set in the "Start sending from" field.
The calendar displays both configurable and already configured notifications. To clarify the values in the calendar, you can click on the Help button.
An intersection alert appears if more than one push notification is scheduled to be sent within one hour on that day.
After completing the settings, click on the Save button.
After creation, the notification has the Inactive status. At the same time, in this status, it can be edited in all Steps.
To activate the notification, you need to click the Start button.
All created informational PUSH notifications are placed in the Information Notification Log.
